Hello Everyone! Just in time for the polar vortex, TQLC has once again partnered with Ann Taylor to bring you five unique looks styled from their winter collection. Ann Taylor has a great mix of chic basics and stand out pieces with special details that are perfect for the season. Every occasion is covered from holiday parties with the on-trend sequin tuxedo dress, to office appropriate outerwear, and glam winter white separates. My favorite find is hands down the menswear inspired gray top coat. It is so versatile and tailored and something I will be wearing from work to weekend all winter long. I was like a kid in a candy store shopping the winter accessories... I love the fur accented gloves and the fun pop of sparkle on the knit hat. A cozy knit hat and a great pair of gloves make great holiday gifts, because they always fit, and are always needed!  Being warm and cozy is not an excuse to sacrifice style. I hope you have a wonderful rest of the week and a very well-dressed holiday season.

Thank you to Ann Taylor for sponsoring this post.

Leopard & Layers

Vest: c/o Ann Taylor (similar here) // Shirt: J.Crew (25% off with code SHOPNOW) // Sweater: Old (similar here) // Skirt: Tibi (old, similar here) // Shoes: Sam Edelman (old, similar here and here) // Bag: Vintage Chanel  (found exact one here) // Sunnies: Karen Walker

Happy Monday! Layering is a definitely an art. And just like painting a picture... mixing textures, playing with proportion, and adding color can take layering to the next level. This long vest has been one of my favorite pieces of the season and I am always on the lookout for creative ways to incorporate it into a new outfit. It's sleek shape and leather accents add a chic element that pulls together my slightly school girl inspired ensemble. As for leopard, it always adds a fun pop of print. I often treat it as a neutral and mix it with everything, and I may even like it more than stripes... maybe. I hope everyone is having a wonderful start to their week and thank you as always for reading!

Lilac

Sweater: Rebecca Taylor // Pants: Elizabeth and James (old, similar here) // Bag: Whistles // Sunnies: Moorea Seal  (Finally back in stock) // Bracelets: David Yurman // Ring: David Yurman // Lips: Tom Ford 'Pink Dusk'

Happy Friday! During the fall and winter I admit that I wear a lot of dark colors and my fair share of leather. That is why I love this soft combo of lilac and ivory. This lilac knit is a great mix with an ultra feminine color and boyfriend shape. And I love the way it's chunky texture is complimented by the fluid shape of my wide leg pants to create the perfect mix of cozy and chic. I hope everyone has a great weekend and thank you as always for reading!

Out to Brunch

Culottes: Club Monaco (Now on sale!) // Sweater: Topshop (similar here)// Jacket: Maje (similar here)  // Shoes: Zara (old, simlar here) // Bag: Celine // Sunnies: Italia Independent

Hello and happy Thursday! I wore this outfit last weekend to brunch with fellow local blogger Thamarr from the blog Musings of a Curvy Lady. I met Thamarr at the Nordstrom Jacksonville Opening Gala, and you should definitely check out her blog! She puts creative spin on plus size style and seeks to inspire all women to have fun with fashion. Speaking of fun, I paired my fuzzy sweater and cat eye sunnies to create a playful contrast against my otherwise elegant silk culottes (last seen here). Dressing for brunch with girls is a great time layer on your favorite pieces that the guys in your life just wouldn't understand. I'm happy it is almost the weekend again, because that means another brunch is right around the corner! Have a great rest of your week and thank you as always for reading.
